A Special Blessing For Danna & Russ Currie

Teach your children well,
Their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.
Crosby Stills Nash & Young

To hold a new born baby child, there is no greater joy :>)

Congratulations to Danna and Russ Currie on the birth of their baby girl, Elianna Grace.

Proud papa Russ sent me a picture shortly after she born---she is adorable and she has her daddy's nose :>)

May Elianna's life always be filled with laughter, joy, love and God's grace and may she meet all life's challenges with inner strength, conviction, and dignity.

TARGET DESTROYED: SHOCK IS KILLED

According to Keith Kelly of The NY Post: SHOCK IS OVER AND OUT. GONE. DEAD.

HFM has pulled the plug on that piece of trash SHOCK magazine that stole Mike Yon's iconic photo and then reneged on a settlement even before the ink was dry!

The American version became ensnared in controversy almost from Day One when it ran a picture of an American soldier cradling a wounded Iraqi girl who was fatally injured in a roadside ambush.

The photographer, Michael Yon, objected, claiming that the photo had been purchased from a photo agency that had never obtained the proper rights.

Hachette apologized and offered to make a settlement, but when talks broke down, the photographer launched a campaign that succeeded in getting the magazine yanked from some large retail chains.

That hurt the magazine, since it was designed to be supported mainly by newsstand sales.

Delivering the news to Michael was my Christmas present to him as the day grows near when he returns to Iraq to provide us once again with the most emotive, honest, raw, "boots on the ground" dispatches from Iraq.

His response was that of a true warrior: "TARGET DESTROYED"
