Of Bibles and Korans

This very interesting article was emailed to me yesterday, from a retired Marine. I'll respect his privacy until he otherwise lets me know I can mention his name.

This sheds light on the realities of what goes on in Muslim countries, but whats particularly disturbing is that Saudi Arabia reacted with concern towards the Newsweek allegations, while harbouring their dirty little secret.

Saudis Do Destroy Bibles, Think Tank Affirms

A U.S. based think tank critical of the Saudi government has added its voice to allegations that authorities in the kingdom routinely destroy Bibles.

In another article posted on its site- and published as on op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Friday- Saudi Institute Director Ali Al-Ahmed wrote of his fellow Saudis:

"As Muslims, we have not been as generous as our Christian and Jewish counterparts in respecting others' holy books and religious symbols".

I've yet to see this story appear in anywhere in the MSM!

Wow, I'm shocked that a Muslim actually admitted that they have not been as "generous" regarding the respect of other faiths' books, etc...

    Talk about understatement!
