#dontgo was created to voice allow Americans to voice anger and frustration at Nancy Pelosi and to pressure Pelosi GET BACK TO WORK, reconvene Congress, and allow a vote on the American Energy Act which calls for increased domestic oil production, CONSERVATION efforts & research into ALTERNATE energy forms. Very GREEN.
Pelosi refused to allow a straight up and down vote. Instead she wastes fuel & taxpayers money to the cost of $50k per flight to hock a book that is failing to sell.
Ever since MoveOn & Dems found out about #dontgo - they haven't shown up to have an open discussion--instead Leftinistra socialist hack Matt Stoller & his acolytes from MoveOn have resorted to belittling, lying, & spreading misinformation about #dontgo. Same old boring tactics from the Left.
Discussion is welcomed.
How about discussing the fact that Soros investments include BIG OIL, KBR (Military) & Northrup ( Military) & that Soros finances MoveOn.org AND that MoveOn.org contributes to Obama's campaign. And let's discuss Big Oil's contributions to Obama's campaign.
Let's discuss how Pelosi's promise to ensure that this Congress would be the most transparent Congress has yet to come to pass!!
Spamming #dontgo feed with comments like "I'm 69ing with my wife" &" I can't poop so I m passing gas" is NOT about inviting discussion on the energy policy.

I have deleted the post, sending an email to the address that DangerGirl used to register saying:
You speak about the same old boring tactics from the left, including belittling.
Yet you have chosen to do the same thing, particularly by your allegation that discussing sexual activity passes for intelligent discussion amongst Democrats.
So, if you wish to join an intelligent discussion about the pros and cons of offshore drilling, conservation efforts and other efforts to address energy issues in our country, I will gladly encourage it. However, if you resort to the same tactings that you lambaste the left for, I will continue to delete your posts.
Alden claims that belittlement and allegations are not appropriate on his blog in spite of the fact that his post was filled with both, & that he allows for an anonymous negative comment which belittled the Vice President, the entire GOP and #dontgo, not to mention made allegations that cannot be proven.

Seems like you, Alden, found THEIR comments offensive so you attributed them to me, deleted my post, and then accused me of something I didn't do.
Yet, you let the anonymous commenter above disrespect and belittle the entire GOP, the Vice President and #dontgo, with an allegation that is both false and unproven by him/her.
I didn't come to discuss energy policy. I responded to the false accusations YOU made:

As anyone with even half a brain can see, I used TWO quotes from twitterzens that were sexual and vulgar to show YOU that these people were NOT open to discussion - they were merely spamming. As for my comment about those on left feeling that those kinds of comments might pass for "intelligent conversation" ..... it was a snarky retort in direct response to this unfair characterization and false accusation written by you:

What I kindly didn't do was to include the names of the two people who wrote those lewd comments, and who have been repeatedly making similar comments.
Not mentioning their twitter names is far nicer and fairer consideration on my part, than I received from Alden Hynes!
I can't help but notice that a comment that insults Republicans, the Vice President, the GOP & #dontgo is perfectly acceptable to Alden and that he feels its perfectly acceptable to accuse "#dontgo operatives"of not being "open to discussion" about energy policies while hurling pithy false allegations that "discussions about energy policy is as repellent to the Republican operatives behind dontgo as it was to Vice President Cheney." .
Yet he doesn't mention that in the middle of Min.HouseWhip Eric Cantor's speech on the Floor, DEMOCRAT Nancy Pelosi shut off the lights, turned off the mics and demanded that CSPAN leave and not cover the Republican revolt happening on the floor in front of American citizens, effectively shutting down all conversations about ENERGY and denying a vote on the American Energy Bill. It appears that in truth energy discussions are repellent to Democrat Nancy Pelosi.
Alden gets annoyed that #dontgo is adding a 'NEW SPAM FREE TWITTER STREAM'. As if spamming out the ugly,vile and lewd comments (examples of which I posted) is akin to the censorship he & Nancy Pelosi practice!
